1. 정건석 프란체스코신부님의 소장품인 5단 보석 묵주/Father Francis Gem 5 Decade Gemstone Rosary
정신부님께서는 최근 어떤 형제님으로부터 묵주를 선물로 받으셨습니다. 그 형제님께서는 매년 신부님께 직접 만든 묵주 하나를 선물로 드리면 신부님께서는 선물로 받은 묵주를 늘 다른 분에게 다시 선물하셨습니다. 그러자 그 형제님께서는 이번에는 보석으로 묵주를 만들면 신부님께서 고이 간직하시리라 생각하고 직접 고른 보석으로 예수님 십자가의 고통을 묵상하며 정성스럽게묵주를 만드셨습니다. 그 묵주를 받은 신부님께서는 무척 기뻐하시며 만드신 분의 정성과 마음이 담긴 이 귀한 보석묵주를 가장 값지고의미있게 사용해야겠다고 생각하셨습니다. 그런 이후 신부님께서는 성물 전시회에 이 묵주를 도네이션하시겠다고 결정하시며 본당을 위해그리고 이 묵주를 구입하시는 분과 그 가정이 한 해를 마감하며 뜻깊게 재물을 봉헌할 수 있는 기회를 마련해 주셨습니다. 이 5단 묵주에 사용된 보석은 Amethyst, Sapphires, Quartz. Mystic, Smokey, Limon Biola, Sky Blue Topaz. Silver 입니다.
Father Francis recently received this rosary as a gift from one parishioner. Every year, this parishioner gives one rosary to Father Francis, who again gives it as a gift to someone else in need. However this year, theparishioner made the rosary out of gemstones thinking Father Francis would keep it this time. He carefully handpicked gemstones while contemplating suffering and the cross. Upon receiving this gift, Father Francis was extremely delighted, and at the same time, thought how he would use this rosary in the most meaningful way. He finally decided to use it for our parish by donating it to the 2014 Catholic Art Exhibitionand Fundraising Event. This provides an opportunity for the auction purchaser and his/her family to end the year in a meaningful way by offering.
